Even the human eye has muscles to help it move, blood vessels that deliver oxygen to the eyes , and ocular nerves that allow a person to identify whatever is seen.

The muscles that help the eye move around are the following:

  • Superior oblique
  • Inferior oblique
  • Levator palebrae superioris
  • Superior rectus
  • Inferior rectus
  • Lateral rectus
  • Medical rectus
